We have a massive land at our disposal and we have decided to use it commercially to combat poverty and an-alphabetisation. Our palm oil plantation is already providing employment for the adults population. We will use a percentage of the profit we will make from the sale of palm oil to directly fund scientific education of our worker’s children.
We are expert in palm plantations: from palm nuts germinations, plantation maintenance to palm oil production. Currently we are capable of producing 20 metric tones of palm oil a year. We aim to triple that in two years and quadruple in the fourth year by planting 5000 palm trees every year in the next three years.
Any commercial enterprise is viable only when it makes profit and provide a good returns on investment. This can only be achieved when the production and logistic costs are lower than the product sales price.
So far our production cost is very favourable, however the cost of transporting palm oil from our plantation to Kinshasa is too expensive and takes away any profit. This is challenging to our business future; we need better means of transport to future proof our project.
We use modern production methods and are keen at introducing effective machinery to boost our production capacity, increase our sales and target international buyers.
